Oftentimes as entrepreneurs, we don’t see ourselves as the CEO, so-to-speak.
Why is that? Sounds too corporate, maybe?
Whatever name you want to give to your leadership, you MUST continue to show up as a leader in order for your business to continue to grow.
In other words, you must match your behavior to your goals.
Here are three key ideas to consider when you’re figuring out how you can up level the way you show up as a leader:
1. You cannot outperform your limiting beliefs. You must consistently work on your mindset about growth, abundance and trust.
2. When you’re feeling frustrated, it’s simply a SIGN:
🤷♀️ I need help. (Ok, who do you need to hire to get the support you need?)
👿 I am resisting. (Ok, what’s coming up for you? Write down exactly why you’re resisting, and figure out a way to either overcome it, or decide that what you’re resisting is NOT the right move right now. Trust yourself, but also call yourself out on resistance that’s based in fear.)
🥱 I am overwhelmed, tired. (Ok, let’s take a break. Let’s rest, recover, relax and revisit. Then, you’ll likely refer to “I need help” or “I’m resisting” once the feelings of overwhelm are removed.)
3. Rate your personal responsibility and integrity. You must do what you commit to doing, or hire someone for it. “It” must get done.
Remember, if you can’t trust yourself, your potential buyers can’t trust you either.
Putting in the daily effort, pushing through the resistance and fear, and making decisions quickly and wisely are all elements of this personal responsibility.
You are the captain of this ship!
